■ 공연내용
천새빛은 48현 가야금 연주자이다. 일곱 살인 1994년도부터 아버지 천익창으로부터 가야금을 배웠으며, 1999년도 한국방송공사(KBS) '국악한마당'을 통해 데뷔 한 후 현재까지 지속적인 연주활동을 펼치고 있다. 2007년에는 인터넷을 통해 본인의 연주가 알려지면서 대중들로부터 많은 관심을 갖게 되었다. 천새빛의 스승이자 부친인 천익창 선생은 지난 30여년간 개량국악기를 제작해오고 있는 가야금 연주자이다.
특히 이번 연주에서는 천새빛의 창작곡 "외방리 겨울"이 초연되는데 이작품은 한적하고 조용한 외방리 별장에서 생활을 표현한 천새빛의 14년 음악수업중 처녀작으로 천새빛은 이것을 계기로 더 많은 창작활동의 시발이 될것이다.

■ Performance description
CHUN Saebit is a 48-stringed Gayageum player. In 1994 when his age was seven, he began to learn Gayageum. Since his media debut at a TV program of the Korean Broadcasting System(KBS) in 1999, he has been presenting his Gayageum performances at various sages. In 2007 he drew the public attention through the Interne showing his performance footage in it. His father and mentor, CHUN Ikchang being a Gayageum player too, has created many modern stringed instruments for more than thirty years.
